Wildebeest migration, Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater

This is a joining group camping safaris which will give you unforgettable experience of a life time. Someone will have a chance of viewing the wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River from Tanzania to Kenya either way round.  Also there will be an opportunity of viewing other wild life such as lions, elephants, zebras, cheetah and buffalos.

Itinerary (7 days)

Arrival Day:

Our staff will pick you up from the airport to the hotel or lodge in Arusha town by a comfortable van.

 

Day 1:  Arusha to Tarangire

Our Driver guide will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 am and drive you a distance of 3 hrs to Tarangire National Park about 115 km from the city center for a full day game drive. The overnight will be at a selected lodge or campsite in Mto wa mbu or Karatu. Most of the wildlife can be found in this park which has squire miters of 2,800. This park is famous for having large groups of elephants, lots of baobab trees, tree climbing pythons and beautiful areas. In addition, the big five and ungulates can also be found in this park.

 

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti

Wake up in the morning for breakfast, loading your bag packs into the safari car as well as all your belonging ready to start your adventure to Serengeti national park.  The driver guide is supposed to get you to the park at 3 pm in the evening. There is a lot of attractions to see along the way such as the great rift valley, the wild life such as the lion, monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest and many others just to mention a few. Also there will be the game drive on route whereby there will be a chance of viewing various animals such as hippos and beautiful land scarps. Indeed Serengeti shall never die because there are a lot of attractions that you may not ever imagine. Lunch and water bottles will be provided and the overnight will be at a selected lodge or campsite in Seronera.

 

Day 3: Serengeti full day

Wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then start exploring this endless plain, whereby the driver guide plays his role in ensuring that you are able to see the wildebeest migration in the northern part of the park. Also this place offers the spectacular sunrise and the sunset with wildlife and acacia trees on the background. Dinner and the overnight will be at Seronera in the lodge or campsite selected. In addition, lunch and water bottles will be included in this package.

 

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

Wake up early in the morning at around 5 am for a light breakfast and then go for the early game viewing and sunrise until 11:30 in the afternoon for the hot lunch. After lunch, remember to pack your luggage and all your belongings into the car ready to start an adventure to the crater. Each day is different in the park therefore, on your way back you may be lack to see the animals which you might not have seen in the previous days so do not lose concentration unless you are satisfied or tired of watching the wildlife. There will not be game drive in Ngorongoro crater on this day until the next day because of the nature of the trip. The overnight will be in the selected lodge or samba campsite.

 

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Wake up very early in the morning at 5:30 am for warm up and then descend to the crater floor for about six or seven hours game drive and then back to the lodge or campsite for loading your luggage into the car ready to go back to Arusha. Inside the crater, there is a lot of wildlife and may all be seen in one day because of the attractive environment found in the area. Therefore, there is a great possibility of spotting the black rhinos and the flamingos. Again, other animals such as lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, warthogs and other ungulates may be seen. The breath taking land scarps and weather will encourage you staying in the caldera and leave you a memorable experience into your life. Words and pictures do not justice the beauty of this heritage site. Dinner and overnight will be in Arusha. The following day will be for relaxation and doing whatever someone would like to do in the town before leaving to the airport to fly back home or Zanzibar historic town for swimming into the beautiful beaches and cultural tours.
