TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
This remarkable park is one of the most visited attractions in northern Tanzania, spanning an impressive 2,800 square kilometers. Its stunning landscapes—featuring abundant elephant herds, captivating baobab trees, and a wealth of wildlife including the Big Five, giraffes, numerous bird species, and other ungulates—are among the key factors that draw large numbers of tourists to this extraordinary destination.
SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
The Serengeti, recognized as a World Heritage Site and the second-largest national park in Tanzania, is celebrated for its annual wildebeest migration and its boundless, picturesque plains. These sweeping landscapes are characterized by rocky kopjes, rolling hills, and a variety of tree species, including numerous types of acacia. Beyond its iconic scenery, the Serengeti is home to a remarkable diversity of wildlife. Over 500 species of birds, such as marabou storks and secretary birds, can be found here, along with countless insects and reptiles.
Within the park’s expansive habitats, endangered animals like black rhinos and wild dogs coexist with abundant herds of buffalo, leopards, lions, giraffes, millions of wildebeests, numerous zebras, gazelles, impalas, hippopotamuses, and other ungulates. This extraordinary biological richness makes the Serengeti an ideal destination for researchers, scientists, archaeologists, photographers, scholars from various disciplines, and anyone who appreciates the wonders of the natural world.
NGORONGORO CRATER
Ngorongoro Crater is essentially a vast volcanic caldera formed by ancient eruptions many years ago. It spans approximately 250 square kilometers and plunges to a depth of around 600 meters. Recognized as one of the world’s most unique natural wonders, it features breathtaking landscapes, abundant wildlife, vibrant communities, shifting sands, and lush evergreen vegetation along the crater rim. Archaeological sites, including the nearby Olduvai Gorge—revered as the cradle of humankind—further enhance its historical and cultural significance.
Notably, the region supports a multifaceted land-use model where wildlife and the Maasai people coexist. More than 20,000 animals inhabit the crater, and several smaller craters and lakes, such as the Empakai Crater, lie within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority. With no physical barriers, wildlife can migrate freely, creating a dynamic and ever-changing natural environment.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

It largely depends on the activities you’re interested in and the wildlife you hope to encounter. We are familiar with the regions where wildlife is most abundant, and we can advise you accordingly whenever you need our assistance.
The dry season (June–October) offers the best wildlife viewing as animals gather around waterholes, making them easier to spot, and the weather is generally mild and clear. Meanwhile, the green season (November–May) features lush landscapes, abundant birdlife, and events like the wildebeest calving (January–February), though occasional rain and fewer tourists should be expected.
