Highlights
Day 1: Arrival at the airport
Our professional staff will pick you up from Arusha or Kilimanjaro airport and take you to your accommodation in Arusha city overnight.
Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire
Our professional tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha at 8.00m and then drive 3 hours to Tarangire national park for a full day game drive inside Tarangire national park later on you will be driven to Jambo, twiga or fanaka lodge for dinner and overnight.
Tarangire national park is located 115km from Arusha and covers an area of about 2800 km2. The park is famous for having large groups of elephants and baobab trees. Furthermore, big cats such as lions, leopards and cheetahs are also found in this park. In fact there are varieties of wildlife such as wildebeest, zebras, worth hog (pumba), water buffalos and many others just to mention a few.
Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti
Wake up in the morning for breakfast, pack your luggage in the safari jeep, then you will start to do an en-route game drive to Serengeti national park with your lunch inside the jeep.
On the way to Serengeti national park there is the possibility of seeing a variety of animals such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes and many others. Also there is a chance to view Ngorongoro crater on top of the crater rim. Dinner and overnight stay will be in the Seronera campsite inside Serengeti.
Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater
On this day you will wake up early in the morning and have your full breakfast, then you will embark on the morning game drive until 11:30am and go back to the camp for lunch, pack your luggage into the jeep in order to go to Ngorongoro crater for the overnight at Simba A campsite or selected lodge. There is no game drive in the crater on this day. Therefore, you may use some time to visit Maasai Bomas to experience their traditional dances and learn their culture by paying a little entrance fee to their chairman. Your tour guide will help you organize it.
Day 5: Ngorongoro crater tour to Arusha
Wake up early in the morning at around 5.30 am for your breakfast, after breakfast you will descend to the Ngorongoro crater floor to search for animals including big five, also there is a chance of spotting varieties of birds like flamingos and the black rhino. After the game drive you will go back to the campsite for lunch, pack your backpacks and drive to Arusha for the overnight or airport ready to fly back home.
